lyrics

You crawl from my bed like a snake
And put on a face by the door
Grabbed a bite to eat from your way from the room
And dropped a cup of mud on the floor
Said I’m sorry I have to leave you now
And you never gave a reason why
She’d hit the streets for a better loving man
And she thought I would break down and die
Chorus
Oh circuit breaker , it’s so plain to see
You’re just a sweet heartacher
Ain’t no way that you’re gonna break me

I called on my friends on my way down town
Hoping they’d seen you that day
They knew your game and said I had it coming
So if they knew they weren’t gonna say
My mind was hazy as I left the room
My head was going up and down
Had she really left me for a cool calm jerk
Or looking for pay for a pound
Chorus
Oh circuit breaker , it’s so plain to see
You’re just a sweet heartacher
Ain’t no way that you’re gonna break me

My mind was hazy as I left the room
My head was going up and down
Had she really left me for a cool calm jerk
Or looking for pay for a pound
She said I’m sorry but I have to leave you now
But she’d never gave the reason why
She’d hit the streets for a better loving man
Thought I would break down and die
Chorus
Oh circuit breaker , it’s so plain to see
You’re just a sweet heartacher
Ain’t no way that you’re gonna break me

You’re just a circuit breaker (repeat)
